Hi I’m Reese Jaxon - an educator turned children’s author with nearly 20 years of experience helping young minds discover the joy of reading, writing, and expressing themselves. My journey began in the classroom, where  I saw firsthand how stories could spark curiosity and build confidence. That introduced me to the approach of Read to Me – Talk to Me, which encourages children to think deeply, share openly and wonder freely.

My writing journey began with an innocent compliment from my friend's daughter. We'd just returned from a walk around our local park with my dog, and as we sat sipping our hot chocolate, she said, “You’re so funny—you should write a book!” That little comment stayed with me, it was one of those unexpected moments that planted a seed… and here we are. What happens next?
